this time one to be painted
he hasn't been baked yet I will have to do that tomorrow as it is late here.

Awesome job! :D Do you use a kiln or an oven? :3
I swear I've heard of a rat named Ben before, from a horror movie about rats..I may be losing my mind here but I swear I saw this movie about a guy that kills someone with pet rats..any idea's? XD Sorry.

I just use an oven, on gas mark 1 for 11 minutes real simple and quick , my friend showed me how :3

And yes he is named after that Rat!
the film you are thinking of is called Willard in the 2003 version Ben is a brown rat though and the ending i didn't like so much.

the 1973 one is better because the Ben in that is actually the same colour as my rat Ben, it also got a sequel called Ben which is a wonderful film but also really rare there is one copy on youtube you should watch sometime:
[link]

also the sequel was mostly known for featuring the song 'Ben' which was actually made for the film: [link]

XD sorry I get carried away

Oh thanks, I was wondering how to brisk clay without a kiln. xD

Yes! That movie was definitely good. I need to watch the old version, and it's sequel, I liked Ben much more than Socrates. :3 I've never heard of Ben, I wonder why it's so rare, Micheal Jackson sings in it! :D Thanks for the links! :3

I didn't get two as pets or anything then post mad journals about them then open commissions to pay for medicine for them or upload photos of them...
I guess what I'm saying is:

Cool! Are you using Sculpey? Also, when baking, I recommend putting the clay on an index card. It prevents the bottom from burning! :)

I'm using Fimo since its easy to get in multiple co lours here.

oh what is an index card? haha I'm really worried about burning it XD

Index cards (sometimes called note cards) are these things: [link] [link]

It's basically a thicker, tougher, and smaller piece o' paper used to take notes. They can also withstand baking in the oven.
Here's the wiki page for it [link]
