with all; my birds I take them over to the window holding them and let them tap their beak against the glass then let them sit on the windowsill
parakeets are smart animals
my birds only ever crashed in to the window when I first got them before i did that but usually when they are young no injury occurs because they do not have strong flight muscles yet and fly slower
still blinds and net curtains are cheap and easy its really no excuse to mutilate your pet just so you don't have to worry about an open window (even open blinds birds won't usually fly in to)
I really hope her parent reconsider for the birds sake
the best form of excerize for a bird is flying it keeps them healthy and fir and happy
many clipped birds suffer from depression more so than unclipped because they cant fly away from situations that upset them and don't feel safe because of it being flight response creatures.
if i could go to her house and debate it I totally would :c
me and my friend both hate it, but her parents wont even consider letting them grow back, even though she cant fly...
And are you ever going to continue this series? Its my fave by far.
sure its a bit wonky and undetailed, but it will only have a screen time of a few seconds.
