i've kinda been losing my hope in finding god books about feral animals. (especially after reading the tygrine cat because my expecctations were higher then what was met in the book), so i'll be sure to check this one out! :>

Tygerine Cat? I still have that, I read it when I was around 11, and now it is a bit boring for me, but I still do like to read it! David Clement-Davies books The Sight (wolves) and Firebringer (deer) are good! But I'm not sure if you would call them feral. I also still have the Shapeshifter quintet by Ali Sparkes. There's also Cat-Kin by some guy I can't remeber but the end always made it seem like there would be anouther one..Just checked; it's by nick green, the second one is already out and the page for the third one says "For which you will have to wait. Or hack my computer. I strongly advise the former. Shapeshifter and Cat-Kin are both for a slightly younger audience than I am, but If you're like me, I still have to finish a series that I started when I was younger, no matter how long ago it was. (providing i can remember it and liked the first book!)

Umm if you like Marley, try Cleo. It's real life and it's so sad at the end, but I would recommend it to anyone! Also another RL one is vet on call and it's about a vet's first year as an after hours vet. The end is very funny!

i read the sight a while ago. i can't remember much but that is was pretty good! xD maybe i'll bum it off my friend again for another read.

never heard of firebringer! o: /adds to list

if i get bored of a series i don't end up finishing it. xD like warriors. thought i lasted a good while in the fandom, i am 17 now and the books never really got better, they just kept getting ridiculous and i began nit-picking the problems and loopholes before i stopped reading. xD

Well for me there's only two books left, but yes the second/third series are a bit boring, but I think the forth series is a bit better than those two. I find it annoying that Tigerstar can't accept death and has to get revenge! My favourite series is still the first! XD But for their new series, (surviors) it's going to be written by other "Hunters" which I think is a bit cheeky of the publishers, I'm definetly not reading it.

yay!

hmm if you can buy books online i suggest amazon you can get second hand books for pennies in near mint condition-that is of course if you dont mind second hand XD

hmm I cant think of many more animal books,
there is the incredible journey which is a classic, the plague dogs though it is a hard read and the american version has its ending edited to my dismay (since i ended up with the us copy and my friend the british)
mrs frisby and the rats of nimh is one im after because i love the film
oh and wolf cry is a good one but quite tragic.

the pole seekers is the next one on my list after this though really XD

yeah I love second hand XD

hmm the fiulm plague dogs was done b y the same people who directed watership down but Ive heared the US film is also cut a lot , I have the uncut version on DVD though I prefer the original books ending since its a far sight happier, though the stuff they cut of in the US version of the film annoys me.
felidae to me , my problem was some of the cat designs and the random sex scene XD
you can watch the uncut version on youtube but be warned its very dark and old like watership down its undertone is a real issue and because it has animal testing it is upsetting , the guy who wrote the book was very against animal testing which is why he hid no details really: [link]

Sounds like my type of book. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I'll definitely read it! ^-^ Knowing myself, I'll go all-out and make some fan art for the book.

Also, a while back I saw some art you did for Varjak Paw. I went out and got the book because it looked pretty good, and I have to say, I loved it! Thanks for bringing that book to my attention, too!

Keep being super awesome! c:

Oh, mine too! ^-^ I'm up for any good animal story. Have you, by chance, read the books by the author David Clement-Davies? If not, I highly recommend his books, especially Fire Bringer. I might have some others to recommend to you, too, as my whole personal library is almost all animal fiction. XD

I haven't, actually! Everytime I go to the bookstore, it seems they've either never heard of it, or they don't have it. :( I'm determined to find it, though!

oh yes I have though not that one in particular, I have read his books the sight and fell , both captivated me XD

i like buying my books second hand off line alot though i plan on waiting till ive read my 5th guardians of ga hoole and 'skin and bone' wghen it arrives before i buy anymore since i have a lot of other vodeo game based books to read too XD

..ah thats the reason i started buying offline with warriors i used to order in each volume at my local store but now they stopped taking overseas orders so i only got as far as eclipse in the power of three, and buying new popular books like that offline costs quite a bit too espicially to get from america which is why i stick to second hand oldies now XD

Oh, it's a must-read then! It's beautifully written, just like The Sight and Fell. He's just a wonderful writer in general. :3

I do that, too. I get some pretty nice books that way. I actually got a lot of mint condition Stephen King novels like Cujo and Pet Semetary. Guardians of Ga'Hoole is still amazing to me. You can never be too old for that series. <3 But I must read this novel you're talking about! It sounds amazing!

Sorry about that. ^^' I live in America, so it's a bit easier for me. Not by much, though. I preordered the next book in my favorite book series, and it was supposed to be here yesterday. It turns out, just my order was put on back order and they didn't bother to tell me. Meh. That's America for you, though. -_-

Have you read The Chaos Walking series flighty? It's my favourite series but it isn't well known I think you'd enjoy it. :)
'Todd Hewitt is twelve, the last boy in Prentisstown, a town of only men. He lives in a world full of "noise" in which the private thoughts of every man and animal are audible. In one month he will be thirteen and a man. But the town is keeping secrets from him, secrets that will force him to go on the run from the mayor and the men of Prentisstown along with his dog and the first girl he has ever met.'
that is from one of the reviews of the first book 'Knife of Never Letting go' on amazon.

I'll certainly read this book, it looks great!

If it doesn't have animals, then I'm not really interested. I mean, we know all about the imaginary behavior of humans, considering you and me both ARE humans, but the way some people put it with animals is fantastic!
